The work emerges from the repetitive act of cutting into material. A sequence of actions generates a system of bodily objects within a space that measures and restrains them.

Tamar Sofia Kisch has gained extensive experience as a virtuosic performer, collaborating with numerous choreographers, including Alexandra Bachzetsis, Yossi Berg & Oded Graf, Nina Traub, Nir Vidan, Roni Chadash, Guy Gutman, Tami Leibovitz, and others. Since 2019, she has been a dancer and collaborator at Yasmeen Godder Company. In 2023, Tamar participated in The New Department, a research and residency program at the School of Visual Theatre, directed by Guy Gutman. Tamar was invited to develop Reserve as part of ongoing research and production by Hazira, exploring space and the body, both independently and in collaboration with other artists.

Rehearse, repeat, return, repent.
Rehearsal returns to a sequence of mythological disasters that humanity repeats time and time again.
Perhaps if we repeat-return all the way through, ultimately, or at the very beginning, a new creation might emerge.

Carmel Ben Asher is a performance artist and dancer. Her works include Reading: Lament, Ode to the God(des)s, Swallower, and Evening — a collaboration with Zuki Ringart. As a performer, she has collaborated with choreographers Tamar Borer, Yasmeen Godder, Michal Grover-Friedlander, Hillel Kogan, Roni Chadash, Noa Zuk & Ohad Fishof, Andrea Martini, Dana Ruttenberg, Osnat Kelner, and others.
She is an M.A. student in Philosophy at Tel Aviv University; a graduate of The New Department – Research Program for Live Art at the School of Visual Theatre in Jerusalem; a recipient of the DanceWEB scholarship awarded by the Ministry of Culture; and a graduate of the Ga'aton Dance Workshop.
